With spring on its way and Easter just around the corner, now is the perfect time to gather some decor inspiration for all those upcoming spring and Easter gatherings! After a nice spell of warm weather in TN, the past few cold days have gotten me trying anything possible to bring back all the happy spring feels. I decided it was about time to begin pulling out some Easter decorating ideas—starting with the dining table! I picked up a few bunches of blooms and greenery from the grocery store and got to work arranging a centerpiece and Easter table that would instantly feel joyful and festive like the holiday. 🙂
Come on in, and get some ideas and inspo for your own tables or just enjoy the cheery Easter feels!

The first step in creating my Easter inspired table was creating a focal centerpiece. I went for a vibrant, colorful and happy floral arrangement using lots of greenery and varying hues of purple and pink, ivory and a few pops of bright orange flowers.
I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again… creating a pretty statement making floral arrangement doesn’t have to break the bank! This arrangement was created almost entirely of inexpensive grocery store flowers and greenery plus a few of the pretty purplish pink blooms that have been sprouting on one of my trees in the backyard!
I used a short ivory and blue grid pattern runner to kind of ground the centerpiece on the table. It was simple and springy enough to add some texture to the table without distracting from the other elements of the design. I also really like how the straight lines of the runner contrast with the flowing and organic arrangement. This combination added an extra element of interest and style to the table.
Placing this wood bark charger underneath the centerpiece added height and an extra emphasis on the arrangement. It was also a great little natural element to add to my Easter table to give off more of those springtime vibes.
I used these woven water hyacinth placemats to add some extra texture to the tablescape. They give off a really natural Easter and spring vibe which I love. I got these a while ago at a very reasonable price from World Market. {FYI: World Market is having a tabletop sale right now, and these are 25% off.}
With such a vibrant and colorful centerpiece, I decided to tone it down a bit with mainly neutral dinnerware and just a few accents pieces that had a subtle pop of color. I used my everyday white stoneware plates from Pottery Barn for the dinner and salad plates. These plates have literally never let me down… I use them for so many different occasions and they have worked for pretty much every look I’ve tried to achieve. They not only add a clean, white, spring-like simplicity to this table, offsetting the bright and colorful centerpiece, but also give the table a little more of a casual and organic feel. I added some subtle pops of pink by topping the white plates with little accent plates that had pale pink borders and including the matching serve bowl.
I used my gray striped napkins from Pottery Barn to add more interest and texture to the place settings while still keeping them light and neutral. These napkins are my favorite and can be used at pretty much any time of the year. In fact, I used and folded them like this for my Friendsgiving tablescape last fall as well, but I’ve really been looking forward to using them for spring! They just give off a classic spring vibe to me, and folding them in knots like this brings a little more of an organic and relaxed look to the table too.
Although I love colored glasses, with all the eye-popping color in the centerpiece, I decided clear glasses would work best for this tablescape. Using these clear vintage textured glasses added a beautiful and interesting look to the table. I love to mix textures, styles, and the old with the new in my table designs to create beautiful eclectic and curated looks that feel really contemporary and interesting. Using these glasses added just the right amount of vintage flair and interest to the table without it feeling dated or overdone and just added a little extra pretty to the tablescape.
You can’t forget to incorporate some bunnies into your Easter decor! Adding a couple of bunny figurines and bunny themed bowls and serveware ensured that my table felt instantly like Easter. I bought these adorable white bunny bowls on sale from Pottery Barn (PS they’re on sale right now) and the silver bunny figurines are from the cutest little store in Rock Island, TN called The Rustic Touch. I filled the little bunny basket serve bowl with these cute paper mache eggs from the Hearth & Hand line at Target and filled the other two bunny candy dishes with jelly beans because…well, you can’t go wrong with jelly beans for Easter!
I hope you enjoyed this post and were able to gather a little inspiration for your Easter table! If you’re interested in any of the items I used to create my table, I’ve attached the sources below! Thanks for stopping by!
