If you follow me on here or Instagram, it’s probably no surprise that I loooove to use baskets around my home! Whether you need a place to store those extra blankets in your living room, to quickly hide random stuff just lingering around your house, or to neatly display books, towels, or whatever in your rooms. With the right baskets and a little styling, the possibilities are endless! If you have yet to hop on the basket craze train, then all I can say is… it’s time. Luckily for you, I decided for today’s post I’d round up some great stylish basket options that won’t break the bank {all under $40}. I’m also sharing a few pictures of how I used some of the baskets (or similar ones) in my home to hopefully spark some inspiration for using a stylish basket to style and store things in your own homes! Hope you enjoy!

As you can see in the pictures above, I’ve used basket #1 in a couple places in my home. Once under the nightstand in a guest bedroom and a second one under the coffee table in my living room. I’ve always liked the natural texture that seagrass and wicker baskets add to a bedroom, and this one from Target was the perfect size and shape to fill that little space under the nightstand. The basket under the coffee table is used to store extra throw blankets and random knick-knacks that might be cluttering the room. I love the gray rim on this otherwise natural toned basket as it adds a stylish touch that perfectly complements the color scheme of my living room.
The basket above is from Magnolia Market (basket #2 in the smallest size). It is the perfect little modern farmhouse accent to add to any space. Here it makes for a stylish solution to display a few of my favorite magazines in my living room. You can also check out more pictures of how I used this stylish basket in my living room spring refresh post [here].
Belly baskets like the one above from the Bloomingville line on Amazon (basket #3) make for great little stylish containers to hold plants like this faux fiddle-leaf fig tree that I have in my dining room… {Side note: Pacey is clearly amused by all this basket talk… Did I mention that baskets are great for storing dog or other pet toys?!}
I actually just bought basket #4, and I already love it! This stylish basket is from the new Opalhouse collection at Target. Right now I have it storing a throw pillow in my bedroom. As you can see in the images above, I played around using it in a couple of bedrooms, but I just love the natural, light and airy feel it brings to each space that I place it.
I use basket #6 on the shelves in my little office/craft room to store books. This wire basket with copper handles is the perfect storage piece to add a simple industrial touch to any space.
Baskets like #5, 7, and 8 make for great storage in any room or space in your house. Above are similar baskets that I use in my entryway, living room, and bedroom to store pillows, blankets, and other items that I might need to stash away in a moment’s notice. Using cute baskets like these to store and decorate keeps these rooms feeling stylish, cozy, and decluttered. The trendy two-toned design like in basket #7 also adds an extra element of style and interest to a space.
Baskets like these can also be used as a stylish solution for storing towels in your bathroom or even as just a hamper for your clothes.
I have a little seagrass basket similar in style to basket #10 that I found at my local Home Goods store. I use this basket as a stylish accent piece to store anything from remotes to coasters and other small items that might be lingering around the coffee table in my living room. I also use a similar seagrass basket bowl in my entryway as a cute little catchall to drop keys, wallets, or whatever we might need when walking in or out the front door.
I hope this post helped to give a few ideas and inspiration for using baskets to decorate and stylishly store items in your own home! Now it’s time to start stocking up and hop on the basket-loving bandwagon! 😉 Thanks for stopping by!
